Pengennya sih bikin jurnal Alya sama Asha dari lahir. Printilannya dah dikumpulin, udah beli album segala, tapi susah banget nemu waktu buat crafting. Dua anak ini gak pernah rela meninggalkan mama sendirian dan mama suka gak tenang kalo membiarkan mereka main saat mama crafting. Takut dirusak peralatannya heheheh... Lebih takut lagi kalo mereka mainin gunting dkk. Kalo mereka tidur, mama ikutan teler juga dan lebih memilih ikutan tidur... Pemalas..yea I know. Mana belakangan ini mama lagi belajar jahit dan baking hihihi.... Demi mensahkan diri jadi ibu rumah tangga sejati ☺️😉 makin jauhlah impian bikin jurnal. 

Tapi trus pas awal tahun ngeliat hashtag #52project di instagram. Ternyata ini project-nya @bleubird buat bikin jurnal foto “a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014.”

Passssss banget...langsung ikut aja... Jadi setidaknya perkembangan si 2A bisa  terdokumentasikan dengan lebih baik. This is not ideal I know. But this is definitely better than nothing 😁 Lagian kan katanya a picture can tell thousands words 😝

When I look at the pictures, I remember where it was taken, what happened, and why I chose the pictures to represent the week. The pictures really do tell stories. 

I hope when the kids get older I can manage the time to make a real journal. And in the meantime, this will do 😄

On Being A Mom

Yes, I am a mom of 2 now. We have been waiting, hoping and praying for 8 years. We did everything that we could. We got our hopes up, we saw them crushed. We felt that it was the right time, but God said no. We were at the lowest point of our life, at some point we even thought that it would be just the two of us. And He proved me wrong. God gave us Alya, Lealya Kinata Annina, our first miracle baby. Lealya means faith, Kinata means embodiment, and Annina means God has answered our prayer. Yes He really did!!!

We thought the miracle stopped there. But we were wrong. God once again showed us that His plan is beyond our imagination. He gave us Asha, Levania Asha Mehulika. Levania means raise up, Asha means hope, Mehulika means good/well. Asha reminds us to always have our hope up because God will only prepare the best for us, nothing less.

My life is never the same anymore. I gave up my work to be with them. I enjoy being with them 24 hours a day 7days a week, and yes... I do miss teaching sometimes. But I believe that when God gave me such a big responsibility, He also will provide everything that I need. Every day I juggle between Alya, Asha and house chores and baby blues and crafting and me time and so on and so on. But hey....I proudly say I really can feel grateful even on my worst days. I just love them that much.

Hmmmm... Don't know where to start...
Resigning my job for the last 5 years in June, and beginning a new career as a housewife since then. 😁
Got a few plans before resigning, but there were changes here and there.
So here I am, thousand miles from home, thousand miles from my bubi, trying to achieve a dream.
I know He got a masterplan for me and everything that I thought I sacrificed would be worth while.

..signed, sealed, delivered...

My days at work are numbered
Trying to remember as much as I can because I know I will miss all this hustle and bustle very much
There's a part of me that reluctant to let it go, but somehow I believe God has prepared something better for me

I make this for Mrs. Jill, my principal for the last two years.

She decided to move back to the down under to take care of her baby.

It's just a token of gratitude, a little something to remember all the treasured moments we shared for the last two years.
